The Myers Briggs Personality Type Indicator® (MBTI) is an introductory workshop for all professionals. The MBTI looks at four defined areas, such as how you process and take information, how you make decision, how you use your time and energy. Participants will be provided with a reported MBTI type profile and your results are confidential.

Teaching on the Run –The aim of this workshop is to provide participants with the ability to develop clinical and skills teaching, provide effective feedback and assessment to learners, supporting learners, planning term learning within the clinical health care setting.

Transition to Emergency Nursing

This program will help to educate nurses seeking to make the transition to becoming an emergency nurse. It will assist the nurse to begin developing a broad knowledge and clinical skill base, required to care for emergency patients.

The program includes self-directed learning, clinical skills competency assessments and facilitated discussions on various topics with a Clinical Nurse Educator or Nurse Educator, as well as attendance at study days for the purpose of practical skills development.

Rural and Remote Connect Workshops for Midwives

The rural and remove workshop for midwives is designed to promote sustainability of the midwifery workforce in rural NSW by providing support to rural and remove midwives through clinical connections to regional and metropolitan hospitals. The workshop is also designed to assist with recency of practice, discuss challenges facing midwives in rural NSW, enhance clinical skills and provide opportunities for collaboration and mentoring.

Communicating with Open Dialogue and Articulation (CODA)

A one day program to facilitate the development of communication skills for junior staff that can be applied in the healthcare environment within multidisciplinary teams

BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership and Management

This is a nationally recognised qualification that provides participants with the knowledge and skills to display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others.

External Participant Applications
