All vacant positions with Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) are advertised on the NSW Health Career website
via the Recruitment and On-Boarding (ROB) system. Applications are to be submitted online and need to address the position’s Selection Criteria to be considered. To submit an offline (hardcopy), please contact the position’s contact person stated in the job advertisement and they will advise you on how to proceed. The Ministry of Health (MoH) has an Area of Need program
which assists in the provision of general practice and specialist medical services to locations in NSW that have limited access to such services. Eligibility for Overseas Applicants:
Applications for employment by temporary visa holders will only be considered where no suitable permanent residents or citizens of Australia have been identified for the position, following suitable labour market testing.
A person who is not an Australian citizen or a permanent resident, is only eligible for temporary employment for a period no longer than the duration of their current visa. Residency status will be checked and confirmed prior to the person commencing employment.
