Robert Lagaida

Robert Lagaida has held a number of senior executive roles in the NSW public health system including Local Health Districts and the Ministry of Health.

With over 25 year experience in the public health sector, Robert has extensive experience in health policy, strategic planning, delivery of hospital and community health services, financial, asset and corporate services management, strategic procurement and contracts, and ICT development.

In the Australia Day 2018 Honours List, Robert received a Public Service Medal (PSM) in recognition of his financial management contributions to the NSW public hospital system.

His qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Commerce with professional memberships as a Fellow of Certified Practising Accountants, and a Graduate Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In addition to being a member of NBMLHD Board, Robert currently serves as a Board Member for two other not-for-profit organisations. He also serves as a member of Audit and Risk Committees for three local governments including Blacktown, Blue Mountains and Willoughby City Councils.

Robert is also a member of the NSW Medical Council and the NSW Psychology Board of Australia.
