Donated funds benefit children in need

14 Jun 2018

The Commonwealth Bank has donated $10,000 to Nepean Hospital to provide care packs with personal items for young patients in need.

Nepean Hospital sees a high number of children awaiting foster care placement who arrive at hospital with no personal belongings.

The donated funds will be used to provide age-appropriate personal care packs to each child consisting of two outfits, underwear, shoes, hair brush, toiletries, pyjamas and personal items such as a toy or stationery all in a backpack.

Nepean Hospital General Manager, Brett Williams says, “We appreciate this tremendous support from the Commonwealth Bank and what it means for children in need who come to our hospital.”
