New clinical spaces open at Springwood Community Health Centre

Work has been completed at Springwood Community Health Centre to refurbish the ground floor into a new clinical space to support patients with chronic health conditions.
Complete with three treatment bays, clinical and consultation rooms, and space for group activities, the new clinic offers improved access to services for patients with chronic conditions and bariatric needs in the Blue Mountains.
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District Primary Care and Community Health General Manager, Kylie Burke, says she is pleased staff will be able to continue to provide exceptional patient care with services such as nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work and podiatry in a modern clinic setting.
“This is a great service for the Blue Mountains community. We’re now able to provide a multi-disciplinary clinical service for our patients with chronic conditions in a convenient and central location,” says Kylie.
Clients can choose to have their appointment at the clinic over a home visit, which improves scheduling and aligns their appointment with seeing other service professionals at the Centre, in Springwood or to coincide with shopping and outings.
