COVID-19 Advice for Blaxland area

30 June 2021

A person who worked
at SUPA IGA Blaxland, 132 Great Western Highway, Blaxland on Saturday 26 June between 4pm and 6pm, and Sunday 27 June between 6am and 4pm has since tested positive to COVID-19.

NSW Health is contacting casual and close contacts.

Customers visiting the store on between the times listed are considered casual contacts. They must get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.

IGA Blaxland staff working on Saturday 26 June between 4pm and 6pm and Sunday 27 June between 6am and 4pm have been contacted by NSW Health and are isolating. These staff are considered close contacts.

There are many local COVID-19 Clinics in our District that are open for testing. For details on clinics in your local area, please visit the NSW Health website: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/.../covi.../Pages/clinics.aspx

Please check the NSW Government website regularly, as the list of venues of concern and relevant health advice are being updated as investigations continue.

Anyone with even the mildest of cold-like symptoms is urged to immediately come forward for testing and isolate until a negative result is received.
