Building Better Care
04 Sep 2019
The Mental Health Centre on the Nepean Hospital campus is currently undergoing capital works to improve the therapeutic environment.
The work includes the development of newly designed courtyard areas, more welcoming entrances and transition spaces, as well as renovated rooms for families who are visiting.
These positive changes to the Centre will be accompanied by construction noise and occasional disruptions to regular access.
Patients and visitors are advised speak to staff about any alternative access arrangements, and earplugs will be made available for anyone who is staying, visiting or working at the Mental health Centre.
The work, to be completed over the coming months, is the result of extensive consultation with consumers and carers from the local community.
