Haematology Service

The Haematology service offers a wide range of treatments for both cancer and non-cancer disorders. To address these health issues a holistic approach is adopted to support the patient during their illness. Cell collection procedures are also performed at the Centre.

How to Refer

GP/Specialist to write detailed referral letter addressed to one of the specialists listed.

Dr John Taper	Malignant and non- malignant haematology with special interest in plasma cell dyscrasias and director of autologous stem cell transplant unit.
Professor Stephen Fuller	Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, mastocytosis, porphyria, and paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria
Dr Anita Shetty	Malignant haematology including leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloproliferative neoplasms, myeloma and amyloidosis, venous thrombosis, general haematology including Obstetric haematology
Dr Man Yuk Ho	General Haematology
Dr John Giannoutsos	General Haematology, diagnostic haematology
Dr Yi Ling Tan	General Haematology
Dr David Bishop	Malignant haematological disorders (eg leukaemias & lymphomas) haematopoietic stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies (CAR-T cells), general haematology

 

Referral Requirements and Pre Diagnosis

Send all recent scan and pathology results with referral
Patient to bring recent scans
Patient to bring a list of current medications
