Leave a Lasting Legacy

We know providing for your loved one is your first priority when making a Will. Some people find that after making provisions for their family and friends they are also able to leave a gift to causes they care about. (Known as a bequest)

Making a bequest to Nepean Hospital is one of the most enduring ways you can keep making a difference and can have a lasting impact. Receiving a gift in a will is an honour; as it reminds us of the commitment and generosity of our supporters and helps us to plan for the future.

Ways to leave a gift in your Will

If you would like to leave a bequest to Nepean Hospital in your Will we recommend you discuss this with your solicitor before finalising your Will:

  • You can leave a share of your estate
After providing for your loved ones, you could choose to leave a portion of your estate to a service or charity you would like to support. (Known as residuary bequest)
This option can be added to your existing Will without interfering with any specific amounts you choose to leave for family or friends. Even just one or two percent of your estate can make a real difference to the lives of more seriously ill or injured patients in our care.
  • You can leave a fixed sum of money
You may wish to leave a fixed sum of money in your will (known as a pecuniary bequest).
  • You can also leave a specific item of value
